Official Command Station
We document the undocumented — with scientific rigor and field discipline.
Analyzing trace castings, vocal spectrograms, and eDNA forensics.
Investigating relic hominid populations and cryptid biology since 2026.
The IHSE bridges the gap between academic theory and rigorous wilderness operations, focusing on empirical evidence collection.
Formal taxonomic documentation of relict hominoid populations (including Sasquatch/bipedal species) through environmental tracking and nesting habit cataloging.
Deploying specialized grid search mapping, long-term camera traps, ultrasonic acoustic traps, and local geological surveys in target regions.
Conducting follicular medullary index comparisons, sub-surface cast analysis, eDNA sample sweeps, and environmental sound waveform demodulation.
Review cataloged profiles of key biological entities documented during IHSE expeditions.
Access the specialized nodes of the Institute's operations. Select whether to review command dispatches or sit for academic studies.
IHSE measured Patty's gait — and its own controls, including a man in a suit performing the bent-knee gait on purpose. Her numbers reproduce; no natural walker comes close; the suited control reaches the same family. Verdict on gait evidence: UNRESOLVED.
The operational hub for contract consulting, expedition cost estimation, sighting logging, and real-time remote commands.
The academic archives containing the advanced 20-page textbook, forensics laboratory tools, and the Certificate of Cryptid Studies exam hall.
Upon successful completion of Level 1, students are eligible to become members of The Cryptid Conservancy and the Cryptid Rapid Response Team.
Five weeks of field documentation, tracks and sign, lab in the field, witnesses and hoaxes, and a capstone field dossier. Prerequisite: Level 1. $150.
Six weeks of software setup, evidence grading, gait and footprint analysis, and a capstone analysis dossier. Prerequisite: Level 2. $249. Includes hands-on work with IHSE's EGAS software.
Six weeks, student's choice of specialist track: Hominid, Marine, Aerial, or Terrestrial Carnivore. Week 1 orientation, Weeks 2–5 track study, Week 6 specialist dossier. Prerequisite: Level 3. $200.
Eight weeks of original research under IHSE standards: question and study design, records review, fieldwork and laboratory work under Protocols P1–P3, hostile review, and a full IHSE report. A published IHSE report is required for the certificate, alongside the examination. Prerequisite: Level 4. $300.
The official store of the Institute. Purchase museum-grade plaster cast footprint specimens, research publications, casting plaster kits, and secure research expedition bookings.
"In the shadow of the unknown, science and faith must walk hand-in-hand to illuminate the truth. We do not chase myths; we document taxonomy with field discipline."
Dr. Joseph Bryan Thornburg, PhD (Cryptozoology), established the Institute of Hominology & Scientific Expedition in 2026 to bring rigorous empirical methods to cryptozoological investigations. Combining forensic methodologies with structured wilderness tracking, he coordinates all active cases, lab evaluations, and student training programs.
Expedition gear, acoustic telemetry arrays, and DNA analysis processing require significant support. Contribute directly to active field operations or request consultation services.
Guardians of the cryptids — standing watch over the wild unknown.
The Cryptid Conservancy protects the world's hidden species and the wild places they call home. Where IHSE pursues the research, the Conservancy stands guard.
